We require all items to be dismantled well ahead of time except in situations where we were already notified about dismantling. If your chest of drawers is strong enough to be moved loaded and the weight when fully loaded is reasonable, you don’t need to unpack. If the drawer is self-assembly, however, it is not designed to be moved when loaded.
How does your company handle gas cylinders and flammable liquids?
Here at Home Moves and Removals Pocket, we don’t handle hazardous or flammable items such as gas cylinders. Our insurance cover does not include these items so you will need to make alternate arrangements. It is also important to drain items that run on petrol ahead of time.
Will I get my wish with furniture placements from Pocket Removals?
Our staff can place your furniture items anywhere you want but you cannot request for rearrangement after placement. This is why we usually advice our customers to settle furniture placement plans well ahead of time.
What is the size of Pocket Removals storage containers?
You can find storage containers of up to 20 cubic metres. You will need our 20 cubic metre unit for the average house.
Is there a time limit on Pocket Removals storage units?
A storage unit can be booked for either one month or as long as is required, we have some clients that have had storage units for years.

Weapons, gas cylinders, flammable liquids and all other hazardous items are not allowed in our storage units.
