Except in situations where we have already discussed dismantling with you, you need to have all items that will require dismantling already done. The dismantling process is time consuming but we are able to do it as long as it was agreed initially.
Can you carry my chest of drawers as is or do I need to unpack?
If your chest of drawers is strong enough to be moved loaded and the weight when fully loaded is reasonable, you don’t need to unpack. Please note, however, that standard self-assembly drawers are not designed to be moved.
What is the situation with gas cylinders and flammable liquids?
We don’t move hazardous or flammable items, including gas cylinders here at Home Moves and Removals Shore. Our insurance company doesn’t offer cover including such items so please make alternate arrangements. It is also important to drain items that run on petrol ahead of time.
What is the furniture placement policy at Shore Removals?
Our staff can place your furniture items anywhere you want but you cannot request for rearrangement after placement. It is therefore best to have a clear plan for furniture placements long before we are invited.
What about Shore Removals storage containers?
From to 20 cubic metres, we offer flexibility with our storage containers. You will need the 20 cubic metre storage option for proper storage with the average house.
What is Shore Removals policy with storage units use duration?
A storage unit can be booked for either one month or as long as is required, we have some clients that have had storage units for years.
