How much does Removals Astley charge clients for removals?
Our pricing system is simple and straightforward. We have a day rate for all Astley based removals but we will give you a simplified quote for all other removals. The number of staff, size of vans, access and packing are other factors outside distance that we must consider before giving you a no obligation quote.
What van sizes do you have at Astley removals?
The size of the van you will get is dependent on a survey of your home. We are a fully experienced company so there is no fear of not getting the right van size for you. In a situation where we haven’t done a survey of your property, we will work off information you provide in deciding the right van to use.
Do you have provisions for weekend Astley removals?
There is no limit to the days and times when we work but we may charge a slight addition to reflect removals on certain days.

Should I unpack my chest of drawers?
We only carry loaded chest of drawers that are strong enough to be moved and are not too heavy. Please note, however, that standard self-assembly drawers are not designed to be moved.
What is the situation with gas cylinders and flammable liquids?
We don’t move hazardous or flammable items, including gas cylinders here at Removals Astley. Our insurance company doesn’t offer cover including such items so please make alternate arrangements. Items that run on petrol like strimmers and mowers must be drained of fuel well ahead of time.
Will I get my wish with furniture placements from Astley Removals?
We are able to place your furniture at designated spots once, we won’t accept rearrangement requests. It is therefore best to have a clear plan for furniture placements long before we are invited.
