We practice a simplified pricing system. For longer distances you will get a simplified quote but for removals within Grange, we charge a reasonable day rate. Our prices are not just based on distance though as we consider several factors before giving you a quote such as size of vans required, number of staff, access and packing.
What van sizes do you have at Grange removals?
After a survey of your home by our staff, we will decide on the size of van for you. As experts in the removals process, you can always be certain that we won’t fail in our van choice. Customers with property we haven’t surveyed, have to provide detailed information for us to work out the size of van to be used.
Do you carry out Grange removals on weekends?

If your chest of drawers is strong enough to be moved loaded and the weight when fully loaded is reasonable, you don’t need to unpack. If the drawer is self-assembly, however, it is not designed to be moved when loaded.
What is the situation with gas cylinders and flammable liquids?
Here at Grange Removals, we don’t handle gas cylinders and other flammable liquids. We don’t handle this because our insurance policy doesn’t cover this so please make other arrangements. Items that run on petrol like mowers should be drained ahead of time.
How will Grange Removals deal with placing furniture?
We won’t dump your furniture without adequate placement but you have to be co-operative. It is therefore best to have a clear plan for furniture placements long before we are invited.
What is the size of Grange Removals storage containers?
With our storage containers, we can offer you containers sized between and 20 cubic metres. The average house will require a 20 cubic metre storage unit for adequate storage.
How long can I store items with Grange Removals?
From months to years, there is no limit on how long you can use our storage units.
