We will carry your chest of drawers as is, if it is strong enough to be moved when fully loaded and not excessively heavy. If the drawer is self-assembly, however, it is not designed to be moved when loaded.
How does your company handle gas cylinders and flammable liquids?
We don’t move hazardous or flammable items, including gas cylinders here at Removals Shakerley. We don’t handle this because our insurance policy doesn’t cover this so please make other arrangements. It is also important to drain items that run on petrol ahead of time.
What is the furniture placement policy at Shakerley Removals?
Our staff can place your furniture items anywhere you want but you cannot request for rearrangement after placement. It is therefore best to have a clear plan for furniture placements long before we are invited.
