We have a simplified pricing process. We will give you a quote if you are moving outside The Bell as we use an affordable day rate for all The Bell based removals. Our prices are not just based on distance though as we consider several factors before giving you a quote such as size of vans required, number of staff, access and packing.
What size of vans should I expect from The Bell removals?
The van size for your home move will be determined after a survey of your home. We know exactly the right van size for you as we are fully experienced in the removals process. Where we haven’t carried out a survey, we will trust the customer to provide us with information that will help us make a decision.
Can I book a The Bell removals appointment for weekends?
Yes, the timing of the removal process is entirely up to you but we may charge a little extra for certain days and times to reflect the extra costs to staff.

How will you dismantle and reassemble my bed and wardrobe?
We don’t undertake dismantling on the day of the move unless we were notified about it well ahead of time. By sorting the dismantling of items ahead of time, the removals process will be a lot more efficient. The dismantling process is time consuming but we are able to do it as long as it was agreed initially.
Should I unpack my chest of drawers?
We will carry your chest of drawers as is, if it is strong enough to be moved when fully loaded and not excessively heavy. If the drawer is self-assembly, however, it is not designed to be moved when loaded.
How will I deal with my gas cylinders or flammable liquids?
Here at Removals The Bell, we don’t handle hazardous or flammable items such as gas cylinders. Our insurance company doesn’t offer cover including such items so please make alternate arrangements. Items that run on petrol like strimmers and mowers must be drained of fuel well ahead of time.
Will I get my wish with furniture placements from The Bell Removals?
We won’t dump your furniture without adequate placement but you have to be co-operative. This is why you need to plan ahead of time on where each piece of furniture will go.
How big are The Bell Removals storage containers?
With our storage containers, we can offer you containers sized between and 20 cubic metres. You will need the 20 cubic metre storage option for proper storage with the average house.

You can book a storage unit for months or years as long as you want.
