We place emphasis on simplified pricing. For longer distances you will get a simplified quote but for removals within Trub, we charge a reasonable day rate. Distance isn’t the main deciding factor when giving quotes to our customers though as we consider other factors such as access, packing, manpower needed and type of vans.
What van sizes do you have at Trub removals?
We will decide on a van size after we have done a survey of your home. We will choose the right van for you as we are fully experienced in the removals process. Customers with property we haven’t surveyed, have to provide detailed information for us to work out the size of van to be used.

If your chest of drawers is strong enough to be moved loaded and the weight when fully loaded is reasonable, you don’t need to unpack. Drawers of the self-assembly variety are however, not designed to be moved when fully loaded.
How will you handle my gas cylinders and flammable liquids?
Gas cylinders, flammable liquids and all other similar hazardous materials cannot be moved using our vehicles. Please make alternate arrangements as our insurance policy doesn’t cover such items. Items that run on petrol like mowers should be drained ahead of time.
How do you handle furniture placements at Trub Removals?
We can place your furniture items exactly where you want them to be as long as you don’t request for a rearrangement mid process. This is why you need to plan ahead of time on where each piece of furniture will go.
How big are Trub Removals storage containers?
You can find storage containers of up to 20 cubic metres. You will need our 20 cubic metre unit for the average house.
Is there a deadline on Trub Removals storage unit use?
There is no limit on how long you can use our storage units so you can use it for months or years.
