How will you dismantle and reassemble my bed and wardrobe?
If you want us to dismantle any items for you, you need to tell us well ahead of time. Dismantling ahead of time is the perfect way to save time and energy on the project. The dismantling process is time consuming but we are able to do it as long as it was agreed initially.
Should I unpack my drawers before you arrive?
We will carry your chest of drawers as is, if it is strong enough to be moved when fully loaded and not excessively heavy. Drawers of the self-assembly variety are however, not designed to be moved when fully loaded.
How will I deal with my gas cylinders or flammable liquids?
Gas cylinders, flammable liquids and all other similar hazardous materials cannot be moved using our vehicles. Our insurance company doesn’t offer cover including such items so please make alternate arrangements. We will also request for items that run on petrol to be drained well ahead of time.
Will I get my wish with furniture placements from Shore Removals?
We are able to place your furniture at designated spots once, we won’t accept rearrangement requests. This is why you need to plan ahead of time on where each piece of furniture will go.
What are Shore Removals storage container dimensions?
From to 20 cubic metres, we offer flexibility with our storage containers. You will need the 20 cubic metre storage option for proper storage with the average house.
Is there a deadline on Shore Removals storage unit use?
You can book a storage unit for months or years as long as you want.
Do you have a limit on items that cannot be stored in your storage units?
Yes we don’t allow hazardous items such as flammable liquids, gas cylinders and weapons.
