We practice a simplified pricing system. For longer distances you will get a simplified quote but for removals within Gigg, we charge a reasonable day rate. Our prices are not just based on distance though as we consider several factors before giving you a quote such as size of vans required, number of staff, access and packing.
What sizes of van are available at Gigg removals for my move?
After a survey of your home, we will then settle on a van size for you. We will choose the right van for you as we are fully experienced in the removals process. Customers can also provide us with information in places where we haven’t done a survey.

We know dismantling takes time but we are always ready to undertake it as long as it was included in the initial discussions.
Is there need to unpack the chest of drawers?
We can take your chest of drawers as long as it is strong enough to be fully moved and isn’t too heavy. Please note, however, that standard self-assembly drawers are not designed to be moved.
What is the situation with gas cylinders and flammable liquids?
We don’t move hazardous or flammable items, including gas cylinders here at Removals Gigg. Our insurance cover does not include these items so you will need to make alternate arrangements. We will also request for items that run on petrol to be drained well ahead of time.
What is the furniture placement policy at Gigg Removals?
Our staff can place your furniture items anywhere you want but you cannot request for rearrangement after placement. It is therefore vital that you already have permanent spots for bits of furniture before the move.
How big are Gigg Removals storage containers?
From to 20 cubic metres, we offer flexibility with our storage containers. You will need our 20 cubic metre unit for the average house.
