How much does Removals Hey charge clients for removals?
We have a simplified pricing process. We have a day rate for all Hey based removals but we will give you a simplified quote for all other removals. Distance is just one side of the divide as we also have to consider distance, number of staff, access and packing before giving you a quote.
What Hey removal van sizes are available to me?
The van size for your home move will be determined after a survey of your home. We will choose the right van for you as we are fully experienced in the removals process. If you would rather not wait for a survey, we can provide a van based on information you provide to us.

How will you dismantle and reassemble my bed and wardrobe?
We require all items to be dismantled well ahead of time except in situations where we were already notified about dismantling. Completed dismantling helps us focus on just the removals process and reduces stress for all parties. The dismantling process is time consuming but we are able to do it as long as it was agreed initially.
Should my chest of drawers be unpacked?
We only carry loaded chest of drawers that are strong enough to be moved and are not too heavy. Most self-assembly drawers, however, are not designed to be moved.
How will I deal with my gas cylinders or flammable liquids?
Gas cylinders, flammable liquids and all other similar hazardous materials cannot be moved using our vehicles. We don’t handle this because our insurance policy doesn’t cover this so please make other arrangements. We will also request for items that run on petrol to be drained well ahead of time.
Will I get my wish with furniture placements from Hey Removals?
We are able to place your furniture at designated spots once, we won’t accept rearrangement requests. This is why you need to plan ahead of time on where each piece of furniture will go.
What about Hey Removals storage containers?
Our container size is between and 20 cubic metre unit. For the average house, you will need the 20 cubic metre storage unit.

You can book a storage unit for months or years as long as you want.
