If your chest of drawers is strong enough to be moved loaded and the weight when fully loaded is reasonable, you don’t need to unpack. Drawers of the self-assembly variety are however, not designed to be moved when fully loaded.
What is your policy on gas cylinders and flammable liquids?
Here at University Removals, we don’t handle gas cylinders and other flammable liquids. Our insurance company doesn’t offer cover including such items so please make alternate arrangements. Items that run on petrol like strimmers and mowers must be drained of fuel well ahead of time.
Will I get my wish with furniture placements from University Removals?
We won’t dump your furniture without adequate placement but you have to be co-operative. This is why you need to plan ahead of time on where each piece of furniture will go.
What about University Removals storage containers?
We have between and 20 cubic metre containers for your storage needs. For the average house, you will need the 20 cubic metre storage unit.
How long can I store items with University Removals?
We allow our clients to use our storage units for as long as they want.

Weapons, gas cylinders and flammable liquids and all other hazardous items can’t be stored in our units.
